IMPORTANT: 

Assure the following steps when connecting Safety Controller to external safeguard devices. 

1. 

Power off the system 

2. 

Remove the pull-high 24V cables (SI2/SI3 – SI8/SI9), and then connect to external 
safeguard device. 

3. 

Apply isolation measure to prevent short-circuit and the emergent stop of the machine.

Safety Controller (SF-C21) I/O Configuration 

The Safety Controller (SF-C21) inputs are pull-high 24V cables by default, but can be used to connect 

external safety units for robot-collaborative functions, while the outputs are connected to another 

Safety Controller (G9SP) and available for external robot-collaborative applications.
