measure the background. Click “Measurement INT” to measure the samples one by one and the
results are displayed sequentially in the left dialog box. The result is the value that the
background (or blank) have been deducted.
If it is unnecessary to deduct the background (or blank), click directly “Measurement
INT” and the value will be displayed in the left dialog box.
Click “Clear Data” as needed to clear the data.

Self-Diagnostics:
Click “Self-Diagnostics”, there are 4 submenus: “Drift” (Debug internal control indicators),
“Change of Fluorescence Value” (Debug internal control indicators), “S/N (RMS)” and “S/N
(RMS-BG)”.
The PMT value can be set in the “setting” of “Wavelength Scan” or “Time Scan” as needed,
click the options that need to be executed, and the instrument will automatically perform the
operation.
The PMT value of RMS and RMS (BG) is set as 700V. Distilled water that is distilled three
times is put into the cuvette, and other parameters are set automatically.
Settings:
“Set <WL Scan> Parameters”, “Export <WL Scan> Parameters”, “Import Parameters”,
“Import Standard Curve” (Effective when “Quantitation”) and “About FL Analyst” (FL970
software information, such as the version number) can be set in the submenu. As shown in Figure
3-14.
