temperatures and the hazard of damage to the solar pump, when the maximum alarm temperature is reached, it will be switched
off (the regulator then switches to the collector overheating mode).
•
COLLECTOR'S ANTI-FREEZING TEMPERATURE
Owing to differences in the liquid freezing temperature inside the solar system, the anti-freezing temperature setting has been
introduced. This parameter determines the minimum safe temperature at which the glycol liquid will not freeze (temperature
measured on the collector). In the case of a significant drop in the collector's temperature (to the value of this parameter) the
pump will be activated and will operate continuously until the collector warms up to a safe temperature. The range of settings of
this coefficient is within -
50 ÷ +10°C.
•
COLLECTOR'S MINIMUM TEMPERATURE
This parameter determines the threshold value of the collector's temperature below which the pump will not be activated even
when the solar pump switching delta is achieved.
•
HEAT PUMP ACTIVATION DELAY
When the collector's temperature falls below the tank's temperature, the heat pump is activated with the delay programmed in
this parameter.
•
CIRCULATION SAMPLING
This function enables deactivation or activation of circulation sampling, which is intended to update the temperature reading. It
consists of switching on the collector's pump for a short time (when normal conditions for switching the pump on are not fulfilled).
Circulation sampling can depend on temperature (checked option
TEMPERATURE SAMPLING
) or time (checked option
TIME
SAMPLING
). For temperature sampling, the pump is switched on for a moment each time after the collector's temperature
increases or decreases
by 3⁰C
. For time sampling, the pump is switched on with the frequency determined by the user via the
parameter
SAMPLING BREAK
for a specified time selected by means of the parameter
SAMPLING TIME
. Regardless of the
sampling type, it will not be active if the collector's temperature falls below the sampling activation threshold.
6.7.2
CH BOILER PARAMETERS
•
ADDITIONAL HEAT SOURCE ACTIVATION TEMPERATURE
This option is used to adjust the temperature
of switching on of the additional heat source's circulation pump (it is the temperature
measured at the additional source's sensor). Below the preset temperature, the additional source pump is not in operation, and
above this temperature the pump is activated until the preset tank temperature is achieved.
•
ADDITIONAL HEAT SOURCE ACTIVATION HYSTERESIS
This option is used to set the hysteresis of switching the additional heat source to the heat pump. It is the difference between the
additional heat source activation temperature and the current boiler temperature, e.g., when the additional heat source activation
temperature has the value of 50°C, and the hysteresis 5°C, then, after the boiler has reached 50°C, the heat pump will
switch off
and the additional pump will switch on. After the boiler temperature drops to 45°C, the additi
onal pump will switch off, and the
heat pump will be activated. On the other hand, when the current tank temperature is higher than the additional source's
activation temperature, then the additional pump will be activated as soon as the boiler temperature is higher than the current
tank temperature by the hysteresis value (e.g. when the current tank temperature is 55°C, the additional source's activatio
n
temperature is
50°C, and the additional source's activation temperature hysteresis
is
5°C, then the add
itional pump will switch on
when the boiler reaches 60°C).
•
ADDITIONAL HEAT SOURCE OPERATION ACCORDING TO THE WEEKLY SCHEDULE
This function determines whether the additional heat source pump is to be activated together with the set weekly program (On)
or is to operate independently, according to the set activation temperature (Off).
TANK SET TEMP. HYSTERESIS
This option is used to set the tank temperature hysteresis. This is the difference between the preset temperature (namely,
required hot water temperature
–
when the heat pump is deactivated) and the temperature when the heat pump kicks in.
ECO
–
ECO+ THRESHOLD TEMPERATURE
The ECO
–
ECO+ threshold is the tank's temperature at which the compressor is switched off and further additional heating of the
tank precedes with the use of the heater or/and the additional heat source.
