6. CONNECTION TO THE MAINS

Ensure that the current and frequency of the mains supply are the same as those indicated on the label
(A) attached on the back of the appliance.
Ensure that the supply socket has the following

a) It is properly earthed. b) It is appropriate for the nominal current as set out on the rating
plate. c) It complies with the IEC regulations: magnetothermic differential switch (circuit breaker) with In =
nominal value as stated on the rating plate. Differential switch with sensitivity Id = 30 mA.

8. CHECKING CORRECT FUNCTIONING

. Switch off the electrical. . Remove goods and store in another suitably refrigerated place kept at the
same temperature. . Remove the ice from the bottom of the tank. . Remove the plug from the bottom of

Open the tap placed on the back of the appliance (model Bahia only).

. Wipe walls and accessories with a soft sponge dipped in water and a little baking soda.
Carefully dry
everything and return everything to its initial position before starting up the appliance once again.
10. WATER LEVEL TANK FISHING

Switch off the electrical.
Remove the protection grille placed on the back of the appliance.

. Periodically (depending on the hardness of the water) empty the tank of water and fill with a de-scaling
detergent, leaving to soak as indicated on the product package, then rinse well, making the unit run to
remove the ice produced until the product used has been completely eliminated. . Replace everything in

reverse order (See picture 6).
