Setting the Terminating Switch
Depending on the system structure, this p rinter may be
connected at the end or middle of the SCSI chain
(daisy chain) . Turn ON or OFF the terminating switch
accordingly as shown in the following figs.

In case of the printer is in the middle
:
Terminating Switch should be" OFF"
Default is "OFF".

If the printer is at the end of the line,
Terminating Switch should be "ON"

Do not connect any device other than the specially designated device
(Model Name

PR5302) which are presented by Nisca, to the connector
( Non LPS:Li mited Power Source) for theoptions.(Refer t o t he printer back view
in the Secti on 2, Name of each parts)

Connected device may be damaged.

Circuit voltage rating: 24 Vdc, 5 Vdc
→
Fire risk when none designated device is connected.

When connecting the cable, do not forget to turn OFF the power switch of the
printer and all other devices to be connected.

It may cause a trouble to entire system and there is a possibility of big
damage such as losing the stored data.

Regarding the order of turning ON or OFF of the power of each devices at t
he time of starting or finishing the system, the instruction of the system must
be observed.
