1.Press the power switch, the power indicator will turn on, and after several seconds, the TV set will start normal operation.
2.When the TV is operating, press the button on the remote controller to enter in standby mode. The power indicator will be
on but there will be no sound or picture.
3.When the TV is in standby mode, press , the number buttons (0-9) or the Program Up/Down (P+/P-) to resume the operation
of your television.
Note: To ensure normal operation at all times, wait for at least 5 seconds before turning the TV on again after switching off.
4.Press the power switch on the front panel to completely turn off your TV.
Note: Please do not leave the television in standby mode for long periods of time.
Use the power switch located in the front panel instead.

Turning the power ON/OFF
1. Select a program
Use the direct program number selection buttons
You can press the number buttons 0-9 of the remote controller to select one-digit programs.
Press the
-/--
button once on the remote controller to enter two-digit program numbers. The symbol
- -
will display on the screen to
indicate that you can press two number buttons 0-9 consecutively to select any program number between 10 and 99.
Press
-/--
twice to enter three digit numbers between 100 and 227. The on-screen indication
- - -
will show that the TV is waiting for
your input of a 3 digits program number.
Or use the program Up/Down buttons
P+
and
P-
buttons
Pressing
P+
will select a program number in an increasing sequence;
Pressing
P-
will select a program number in a decreasing sequence.
2. Adjust the volume using the
V+
and
V-
buttons.
3. Set correct color and sound systems
If the color or sound of a channel is not normal, the problem may be wrong
settings for color or sound systems. In this situation proceed as described below:
Press the
MENU
button 3 times, so that the screen will display the following menu.
If the color of the picture is not normal
Press
P+
or
P-
to select the COLOR menu option (it turns from white to green),
then press
V+
or
V-
to select the correct color system. The following selection
squence will be displayed:
AUTO
PAL NTSC 4.43
NTSC 3.58
If the sound is not normal
Press the
SOUND SYSTEM
button repeatedly on the remote controller to select the correct sound system. Alternatively highlight
the SOUND option under the FEATURE menu using
P+
or
P-
. Then use
V+
or
V-
to change to BG system within the following
selection sequence:
