Connection to an audio component
DIGITAL OUT terminal
If the component has an DIGITAL IN terminal, connect them
with a coaxial cable or an optical cable.

Select the proper digital output mode in accordance with
your connection. (see page 56)

To enjoy 5.1-channel surround sound, connect a Dolby
Digital or DTS decoder or an amplifier equipped with a built-
in decoder via the DIGITAL OUT terminal.

When using DIGITAL OUT OPTICAL terminals, remove the
caps from the terminals. When you do not use them, leave
the caps in place.
AUDIO OUT jack
Analog 2-channel audio signal is output from this jack.
Connect the component with an RCA pin cable.

AC Power Cord
When all the connection has been finished, plug the AC
