5. INSTALLING DEVICE DRIVERS
5.1 Windows 3.1x and DOS
The installation routines for DOS and Windows 3.1x are menu driven.
Windows 3.1X
Insert your TEAC CD-ROM Installation disc into your floppy disc drive.
Select the option Execute of Program-Manager in the menu File to
start SETUP.EXE. Input
d :\SETUP.EXE and then click OK. Please
replace
d
with the name of your floppy disc drive (normally A or B).
DOS
Start INSTALL by typing
d :INSTALL followed by <CR>. Please replace
d with the name of your floppy disc drive (normally A or B).
Important: To activate the installed drivers you have to reboot your
system. While the system is booting again you should see the following
new lines beside the already known messages:
MSCDEX Version 2.23 MSCDEX Version 2.23
MSCDEX Version 2.23 MSCDEX Version 2.23
MSCDEX Version 2.23
