7.1.3 Base Plate Strain Gage (Force Sensor)
Is the correct Force Sensor selected in CQM Settings?
Is the cable connected to the DAQ module and the base plate?
Check for damaged cable. If it is damaged, replace it.
Check for damaged base plate in the area of the strain sensors (directly under the anvil area of an
applicator). If it is damaged, replace it.
In Diagnostics, observe the DAQ force number while pushing hard on the base plate with your thumb.
The numbers should change indicating that the sensor is working properly.
7.1.4 Piezo Sensor (Force Sensor)
Is the correct Force Sensor selected in CQM Settings?
Is the cable connected to the DAQ module and the base plate?
Check for damaged cable. If it is damaged, replace it.
In Diagnostics, observe the DAQ piezo number while pushing hard on the sensor located on the
terminator frame. The numbers should change indicating that the sensor is working properly.
7.1.5 Trigger Sensor (on non-TE terminators)
Is the correct Position sensor selected in CQM Settings?
Is the cable connected to the DAQ module?
Check for damaged cable. If it is damaged, replace it.
The proximity sensor must have metal directly in front of it for proper detection. Ensure sensor is
mounted properly and ensure the metal target is present. If the sensor has metal in front of it, the LED
on it should be lit.
In Diagnostics, observe the DAQ input1 LED. When the sensor has metal in front of it, the LED on the
screen should be lit.
