The terminal is receiving no
response from the host.
It will automatically switch over to
secondary Com Mode if one is
available.
No known bases
An attempt was made to connect
a terminal to a base that is not
detectable.
Place the terminal on an existing
base and select Add Base.
No match orig. transaction
During a credit or debit void
transaction that requires card
reentry, the swiped card does not
match any stored transaction.
Swipe the correct card for the
transaction to be voided.
No records found
The user attempted to print or
display a report that would contain
no transaction data such as no
transactions for a Detail Report.
Verify that the correct report is
being selected.
There is not transaction in the open
batch that would be displayed in
this report.
Not processed
Swipe allowed remove card
The card chip has failed and the
terminal is requesting that it be
swiped.
Remove the card and swipe the card.
“O” Error codes
Explanation
Action required
Out of balance
Check detail report
The user has entered an amount
for settlement that does not match
the total currently in batch on the
terminal.
Display or print the detail report to
compare totals against each other.
Out of paper
The terminal is out of paper.
OR
The terminal printer cover is open
when reports or receipts are trying
to print.
Reload the terminal paper.
Close the printer cover and press
any key.
