options listed below is chosen with the DIGITAL IN
parameter.
When DIGITAL IN is set to USB STEREO (default) or
SPDIF STEREO, VoiceLive 2 acts as a mic preamp,
harmony/effects processor and A to D converter
sending to your workstation application while allowing
you to monitor your workstation’s output through
VoiceLive 2’s headphones or analog outs.
A useful benefit of this configuration is that in any presets
where NATURALPLAY in the HARMONY edit tab is
set to AUX INPUT, the harmonies will follow the stereo
audio coming from the selected digital in.
When set to USB VOX L / INST(rument)R or S/PDIF
VOX L / INST R,VoiceLive 2 acts as an external harmony
and effects processor fed by digital aux sends from your
workstation. Send your vocal track via the left output
and an instrument for harmony control via the right
output. Monitoring is the same as above. In this mode,
the MIC and GUITAR IN are disabled.
