Standby temperatures must be set to maintain
hopper and freezing cylinder temperatures below
40°F (4.4°C).
Pressing the UP or DOWN arrow keys increases or
decreases the temperature by 1/2°, respectively.
Pressing the SEL key accepts the setting and
returns to the Service Menu screen.
Note:
Pressing the MENU key while in either
screen ignores any changes and returns to the
Service Menu.
Hopper Temp
This option allows the service technician to adjust
the hopper temperature in AUTO and STANDBY.
The Left/Right choice screen is displayed upon
selecting this option. (See Figure 40.)

Pressing the UP or DOWN arrow keys moves the
arrow to “Left”, “Right”, or “Exit”. Press the SEL key
to choose the appropriate option. Selecting “Left” or
“Right” displays a second screen which allows the
technician to set the hopper temperature for that
side. (See Figure 41.)

The “V” indicates the current setting. Pressing the
UP arrow key moves the “V” one position to the right
(warmer). Pressing the DOWN arrow key moves the
“V” one position to the left (cooler). Pressing the
SEL key accepts the setting and returns to the
Service Menu screen.
Viscosity Setting
This option allows the service technician to adjust
the viscosity at which the compressor turns off in
AUTO. The Left/Right choice screen is displayed
upon selecting this option. (See Figures 42 and 43.)

Pressing the UP arrow key moves the arrow up and
pressing the DOWN arrow key moves the arrow
down. Pressing the SEL key with the arrow next to
“Exit” has no effect and returns to the Service Menu
screen. Pressing the SEL key with the arrow next to
“Left” or “Right” will display the respective viscosity
screen. (See Figure 44.)

Pressing the UP arrow key increases the viscosity
setting by 0.1 amp. Pressing the DOWN arrow key
decreases the viscosity setting by 0.1 amp. Pressing
the SEL key accepts the viscosity setting and
returns to the Service Menu screen.
