Fuel is highly flammable. Use extreme care whenever refuelling your vehicle.
•
Turn the engine off. DO NOT refuel with the engine running.
•
DO NOT remove the fuel cap while the engine is running.
•
Always refuel outdoors or in a well ventilated area.
• DO NOT overfill the fuel tank. Do not fill the tank neck.
•
Fill the fuel tank with proper fuel for your engine. Filling the fuel tank with improper
fuel may result in a fire and will damage the engine.
• Do not smoke or allow open flames or sparks in or near the area where refueling is
performed or where fuel is stored.
•
Wipe up all spills immediately.
•
If fuel spills on your skin or clothing, immediately wash it off with soap and water
and change clothing.
•
DO NOT mix gasoline, alcohol, or gasohol with diesel fuel. Mixing fuels may result in
explosion causing severe bodily injury and/or property damage.
• DO NOT fill portable fuel containers on the vehicle. Remove the container an place
on the ground to refuel.
WARNING
USE THE CORRECT FUEL.
The type fuel for your vehicle will vary depending on how the vehicle was ordered. Make
sure that you are using the correct fuel for your engine. Use of the incorrect fuel nay result
in fire or explosion causing severe bodily injury and/or property damage.
WARNING
The fuel system may be under pressure. If the fuel cap is venting vapor or if you hear a
hissing sound while removing the fuel cap, wait until the hissing stops before completely
removing the cap or line.
Failure to follow this procedure may result in fuel spraying out of the system and causing
personal injury.
