Vehicle Controls
1: Ignition Switch
The ignition switch has 4-positions: AUX, OFF,
ON, START.
Rotating the switch clockwise to the first position
turns the ignition system ON.
Continue rotating the switch to the START
position (S) to engage the engine starter motor.
This is a momentary position and the switch
will return the ON position when it is released.
From the OFF position, rotate the switch
counterclockwise for the auxiliary position
(AUX).
2: Fuel Gauge
The fuel gauge displays approximately how
much fuel is in the fuel tank only when the
ignition switch is ON. Do not refuel any vehicle
while the engine is running.
The fuel gauge indicator may vary slightly when
the vehicle is in motion. The most accurate
reading is obtained with the vehicle on level
ground.
With ignition switch OFF, the fuel gauge indicator
may drift from when the ignition switch is in the
ON position.
3: Engine Hour Meter
Displays total hours of engine operation.
4: Headlight Switch
Push the top of the switch to turn the lights ON;
push the bottom to turn OFF.
5: Wiper Switch
(optional) Push the top of the switch to turn
the windshield wiper ON ; push the bottom to
turn OFF.
6: Beacon or Strobe Switch
(optional) Push the top of the switch to turn the
beacon ON; push the bottom to turn OFF.
7: Low Oil Light
The engine monitors oil pressure. This light will
be illuminated if the oil pressure drops too low
and the engine will not run.
