Explanatory notes - C37.60

The ISM25_LD series have been tested to ANSI C37.60 in a minimal enclosure through full testing of the OSM25_Al_1

and OSM25_Al_2 recloser series. Test reports and further information can be obtained from Tavrida applications

engineers.

Explanatory notes - C37.74

The ISM25_LD series have been tested to and passed elements of C37.74.

It should be carefully noted however

 that

the type of vacuum interrupter used in this series is designed for breaking current, whereby the interrupter contacts

rejuvenate during the load breaking process. Make events followed by mechanical “cold” opening, such as the x3

fault-making tests prescribed under ANSI C37.74, will potentially cause welding of the contacts and inability to open

the breaker. Consult Tavrida applications engineers if the system design may subject the breaker to make events of

this type.
