Precautions in maintaining the Tatu Back Hoe
- Never work on the equipment while it is moving. Clamp it, put on the parking
brake, lower the bucket and stabilizing arms before doing any maintainance work.
- Do not repairs on the hydraulic system while it is pressurized or when the cylinders
are loaded. This unsafe act could result in a serious accident.
- Follow the schedules for maintenance and repairs in order to keep the
equipment in good working condition.
- Always use protective glasses while working on the equipment.
- Use brass or aluminium tools and hammer to remove bolts to avoid damaging
them.
Caution! Leaking hydraulic oil can be potent enough to cause serious injury
and seriously damage your health. Use cardboard or another appropriate object to
investigate a possible leak. A hydraulic oil leak can cause very serious problems. In
case of an accident of this nature, seek medical assistence immediately.
