Gear Shifting And Driving
The gearshift pattern is as shown on the
gear lever knob. Gear shifting should al-
ways be done with clutch pedal pressed.
Reverse Gear
For engaging reverse gear, lift the latch
and by keeping latch lifted, shift to reverse
position.
NOTE
Gear recommendation is displayed •
when the clutch pedal is in fully re-
leased position.
If “F” is displayed in DIS of instru- •
ment cluster, it means ‘Fault’ condi-
tion. Contact the TATA MOTORS
Authorized Service Centre.
Press the clutch fully while shifting •
the gear. The reverse gear should
be engaged only when the vehicle
is stationary. Wait for 5 seconds
after declutching to ensure smooth
engagement of the reverse gear.
Do not press clutch pedal while driv- •
ing the vehicle or when stationary
on a slope.
WARNING
Do not switch off the ignition while •
driving.
If you switch off the ignition while •
driving, safety-relevant functions are
only available with limitations, or not
at all. This could affect the power
steering and the brake boosting ef-
fect. You will require considerably
more effort to steer and brake.
There is a risk of an accident.
