In addition it is possible to apply a power supply for the sensor. The column Supply enables to select a constant
voltage or current supply. That function is necessary to power supply f.e. a belt potentiometer for length
measurement.

The voltage power supply has a symmetric design. That means by selecting 10V supply, the output is ±5V
between pin 6 and 7. In the case you need an unsymmetrical power supply from +10V against channel ground,
you have to select 20V supply in the software and take the voltage from pin 6 and 8.
Selectable are sensor power supplies from 1V to 24V, or ±0.5V to ±12V. The constant current can be selected
between 1mA to 24mA.
