Watch for chafing at spreader
tips, pulpit and shrouds.

Secure turnbuckles and clevis
pins with cotter pins and
protect with tape.

Tune or re-tune rigging. X X X
Inspect all rigging, deck
fittings for cracks, crevices,
deterioration, kinks, or other
unusual conditions.

Make sure all rigging functions
correctly.

Clean or lubricate sheaves as
required.

Strip down, clean and lubricate
winches

Rinse off blocks, sheets, lines
and furling unit drum.

ENGINE
Check all hose clamps, cable
straps and mounting bolts for
tightness.

Check engine and gear oil

Check fuel level and water
