After the end of the working season:
thoroughly clean the machine of impurities,
carry out a technical inspection and replace damaged parts with new ones available from the
manufacturer,
grease the machine according to the greasing diagram (fig. 6).
replenish the defects in the protective coating.
It is recommended to replace V-belts and hydraulic lines with new ones every 5 years.
All repairs and replacement of parts of the chipper drive system should be carried out
by an appropriate specialist workshop, equipped with appropriate tools and
instruments.
Storage
6.1.
The shredder should be stored in a dry place, protected from the weather.
The machine should be placed on a stable, level surface and secured against uncontrolled movement.
Disassembly and utilization
6.2.
If the machine is completely worn out to the extent that it cannot be used further, it should be scrapped. This
also applies to ongoing repairs and replacement of damaged parts. For this purpose, the machine must be
thoroughly cleaned, drained of operating fluids, which must be disposed of. Then disassemble the machine,
sorting the parts according to the type of materials used. Segregated parts must be delivered to a recycling or
disposal point.
