 The peel edge should be inspected for wear every 500 hours of operation and for adhesive 

buildup every time the system is rethreaded.

Unwind Felt Slip Disk:

  This braking surface should be periodically checked  to ensure that the felt 

disk is clean and dry.  If this disk has excessive dirt or oil, replace with part #31065.
