7.12. INDICATIONS OF IMPROPER USE
Some damages that are caused before the end of the service life of machine’s exposed components
may indicate overload or improper operation of the machine. Manufacturer’s warranty does not
cover these types of damages:
• Torn or damaged conveyor or in-feed conveyor belt;
• Torn chain;
• Damaged chain guide (saw bar);
• Damaged or bent framework, splitting wedge or cylinder protection;
• Damaged or bent length limiter or hatch;
• Torn cutting chain drive belt;
• Damages to the control and other haandles;
• Damages to the framework due to unsuitable transport at the site;
• Damages to the conveyor’s hand winch;
• Damages to the load chain carabiner;
• Damages to the splitting wedge holder;
• Damaged or broken splitting wedge;
• Clogged or damaged air filter.
7.13. WEAR AND TEAR PARTS
The machine incorporates the following wear and tear parts, which are replaced by the customer if
necessary. These parts are not covered by warranty defined under the warranty statement:
• Chain;
• Drive sprocket;
• Chain guide (saw bar);
• Chain drive belt;
• Clutch plates;
• Conveyor wire rope;
• In-feed conveyor;
• Conveyor belt;
• Splitting wedge;
• Oil;
• Air filter;
• Oil filter.
7.14. SPARE PARTS ORDERING
When ordering spare parts provide the following information:
Machine type and factory number; catalogue no., name and quantity of spare part;
customer’s correct address.
The manufacturer shall provide spare parts and service for 10 years after the purchase of the machine.
Important: The machine has successfully undergo functional and safety tests.
To ensure flawless and safe operation use only original spare parts in case of
malfunction. The warrants and customer’s rights become void if any other
spare parts are used, if repair is carried out in a no-professional manner, if
repairs are carried out by unauthorized personnel and in case of modifications
or rework.
