Depending on how the radio is programmed, the scroll keys, the left selection key, or a function key
may be used to select the
Channels
menu.
2. In the
Channels
menu, scroll through the list of channels until the desired channel appears.
3. Press
Select
, and the programmed channel is now shown on the display.
Using the scroll keys:
The radio may be programmed to use the scroll keys to scroll through the channels.
Using the channel selector
The channel selector can be used to select 16 channels.
If the channel selector is turned while pressing the PTT key, the channel will change after the PTT
key is released.
Using the keypad
This feature is only available for radios with alphanumeric keys.
Dialing a channel may be available from the radio’s idle display but is always available while in the
Channels
menu.
