Task 25 —
Shaping Filter
In this task any faults in the shaping-filter circuitry will be located.
1.
With the radio still in transmit mode, measure the voltage at pin 1 of
IC301
(see
and
) in the shaping-filter
circuit. The voltage should be:

Enter the CCTM command
32
to place the radio in receive mode.
3.
If the voltage measured in
is correct, go to
. If it is not,
4.
Check the components R334 (see
and
and C319 (see
and
) and go to
5.
Check the components between the
PWR
test point
and pin 1 of
IC301
(see
and
) and go to
6.
Repair any fault revealed by the checks in
and
IC301
if none of the other components is faulty.
7.
Confirm the removal of the fault and go to
. If the repair failed, replace the main-board assembly and go
to
.
