There might be instances where you will find that the AV32R DP indicates successful learning,
but when it emits the command your 3
rd
party product doesn’t respond. If that’s the case try
the following:
• Learn a command from the AV32R DP remote to verify that you have done everything
correctly. Don’t forget to move the IR transmitter to the AV32R DP’s infra red receiver
window.
• Try to hold the remote you want to learn closer/further away from TMA1‘s learning
sensor.
• Some IR transmission protocols need a certain number of repeats for a code to be
accepted. Usually this is three times, the default for this property. If a learnt command
does not work when using
Test IR Command
try more or fewer Repeats.
If this doesn’t help then your remote will most likely emit a IR protocol using a variable
number of fast repeat codes to indicate that a specific key is kept pressed for a long time.
The AV32R DP is unable to understand variable IR protocol.
