The TAG Heuer Connected Watch and its accessories will become
warm when plugged into a power source. For example, while the
TAG Heuer Connected Watch is charging or while its accessories
are plugged into a power source, do not sleep on them or place
them under a blanket, or your body. Always use common sense
when charging your TAG Heuer Connected Watch.
D. Maintenance and disposal
1. Cleaning
Clean the TAG Heuer Connected Watch with the cloth and the
rubber strap with water and a bit of soap. Clean if it comes in
contact with anything that may cause stains, or other damage,
such as dirt or sand, makeup, ink, soap, detergent, acids or acidic
foods, or comes in contact with liquids other than fresh water,
including those that may lead to skin irritation such as: sweat,
salt water, soapy water, pool water, perfume, insect repellent,
lotions, sunscreen, oil, adhesive remover, hair dye, or solvents.
Please be aware that exposing the TAG Heuer Connected Watch to
any liquids other than water will void the TAG Heuer International
Limited Guarantee. See the section dedicated to Exposure to liquid
above for details. The TAG Heuer Connected Watch may vary or
fade over time.
Discoloration of the charging surface of the TAG Heuer Connected
Watch charging cradle and of the stainless-steel components
of your watch (notably the charging pins on its back or metal
bracelets) may occur after regular use. This may result from
corrosion caused by some perspiration or dust accumulating on
the components.
Cleaning the charging surface of the charging cradle and the
stainless-steel components of your watch may reduce, or pre-
vent, such discoloration, and will help to prevent damage to your
charger and your watch. To do so, wipe the charging surface of
your charger and the stainless-steel components of your watch
with a damp, nonabrasive cloth, and dry them thoroughly with
a nonabrasive, lint-free cloth.
When cleaning the charging cradle, always disconnect the cra-
dle from both the TAG Heuer Connected Watch and the power
adapter.
If you perspired with your watch or your watch got wet while
wearing, clean the sweat stains and wipe carefully the charging
pins (on the watch back) before charging.
Do not use cleaning products when cleaning your watch or the
charging surface of the charging cradle.
In general, the following actions are not recommended in the
care of your TAG Heuer Connected Watch:
• Do not clean the TAG Heuer Connected Watch while it is
charging.
• Do not dry the TAG Heuer Connected Watch or the bands using
any external heat source (for example, a hair dryer).
• Do not use cleaning products or compressed air when cleaning
your TAG Heuer Connected Watch.
• Do not clean with cosmetic or cleaning products such as wet
wipes.
• Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents.
• Keep the TAG Heuer Connected Watch clean and dry. Dry the
TAG Heuer Connected Watch thoroughly if exposed to water.
2. Repairing
Do not attempt to repair the TAG Heuer Connected Watch by
yourself. Always contact a TAG Heuer Customer Service Center
if you need repairing assistance. The list and contact details of
those centers can be found at tagheuer.com/ch/en/service/
repair-center.html
3. Built-in battery precautions and information
• Your TAG Heuer Connected Watch features a built-in lithium-ion
polymer rechargeable battery, which is not replaceable or re-
movable by the user.
• Do not attempt to replace or remove your Watch’s battery by
yourself.
• Tampering with your product, or attempting to open it, will void
the warranty, and may result in a safety hazard. For any han-
dling of the battery please contact your TAG Heuer distributor.
4. Electronic or electric equipment and battery disposal
Your TAG Heuer Connected Watch, its accessories and its
battery contain hazardous substances. They must not be
