8. Emergency accelerator switch
1. Turn the emergency accelerator switch ON with
the shift lever is “N” position.
2. Depressing the accelerator pedal slightly, make
sure that the engine speed is 2860 ± 40min
-1
.
9. Emergency transmission switch
1. Turn the emergency transmission switch ON with
the transmission at high position and the shift
lever at “N” position.
2. Moving the shift lever “D”, make sure that only “D”
of gear position indicator on combination meter
flashes (When the emergency transmission switch
is turned OFF, “D” and “1” flash).
3. Depressing the accelerator pedal slightly, move
the shift lever “1” to “2” and to “D”. Make sure that
the shift is changed according to the shift
operation.
[NOTICE]
During emergency transmission switch turned ON,
the overshift prevention function does not work.
Therefore operate the down shift while the vehicle
stops.
