System settings (System Configuration menu)
The System Configuration menu is used for adjusting the general settings of the machine. This menu is described in
detail in the following chapter.
Calling up and operating
the menu

The menu is called up by briefly pressing the
button on the front
panel or the remote control handset.
•
Once the menu is open, the following select points appear on the screen:
•
Use the
/
buttons to select a menu point.
•
If you wish to change a selected menu point, first press the
button,
then change the value using the
/
buttons.
•
To accept the change, press the
button again after altering the
setting.
•
To quit
without
accepting a changed value, you can interrupt the procedure
at any time by pressing the
button.
•
Press the
button again to leave the menu.

Tone
Using this menu point you can access the Tone menu by pressing the buttons
on the
K2
.
This menu can also be called up directly by pressing the
button on the
F100 / FM100 remote control handset.

Sourcename
(This menu point only appears if
a listening source is selected
whose display name can be
changed)
This menu point calls up an input window in which you can enter any name you
like for the currently active listening source, i.e. to suit the type of device
connected, which will then be displayed on the
K2
’s integral screen. For
example, you might wish to assign the display name
“Media Centre PC”
to the
DIG2 input.
After activating this menu point using the
button, you can enter your
preferred source name as if writing an SMS message, using the numeric
buttons of the F100 / FM100 handset (see also the chapter entitled
'
Network
configuration, alpha-numeric inputs
'
).
The input position can be altered using the
/
buttons.
When the name input process is complete, press the
button to store it.
If necessary, the display name can be changed as often as you wish.
A name can only be entered for external source devices, i.e. those connected
to the following inputs of the
K2
:
DIG1, DIG2, AUX, TV, REC / TAPE
