INFRA ES rev. 02GBEN13112018
MAINTENANCE
WARNING
Seal the gas valve solenoid valve adjustment component after calibration.
FAULT
CAUSE
SOLUTION
The burner turns on and after a few seconds
goes into lock.
a) Inverted power supply between phase and
neutral.
a) reverse the connections.
b) insufficient earthing
b) check the earthing
c) poor positioning detection rod or electrode c) position of electrode = 4 mm from the plate
(see diagram in this manual).
d) control equipment faulty
d) replace the equipment with original spare
part.
E) air in the gas pipes.
e) perform air bleeding
f) incorrect gas pressure.
f) Check the pressure against the values given
on the plate. Seal the gas valve solenoid valve
adjustment component after calibration.
The extractor motor starts, shortly after the con-
trol unit attempts to come on but the combustion
torch does not turn on.
a) insufficient gas to the burner.
a) check the feed line.
b) The coil of the solenoid valve is not activated
by the interruption of the air pressure switch.
b) Check the connection of the silicon tube and
operation of the air pressure switch.
c) the solenoid coil is defective.
c) it is possible to conduct a check with the
screwdriver; the screwdriver is attracted by the
coil during the time ignition occurs.
d) the gas pressure of the natural gas to the
nozzle is too high.
d) bring it to the plate value.
Fume extractor fails to start.
a) no current.
a) check the position of the switches on the
control panels and on the general panel.
b) motor failure.
b) verify operation of the fan separately; in case
of non-operation replace with an original one.
c) condenser failure.
c) replace with condenser with the same cha-
racteristics.
The extractor motor starts, the control unit
makes an attempt to ignite, the solenoid valve
opens but the torch does not come on.
a) Check that gas arrives at the torch.
a) possibly vent the air out of the system if it
is new.
b) poor positioning ignition electrode.
b) position 4 mm from the plate. (see diagram
inside this manual)
c) the gas pressure is too high.
c) bring it to the plate values.
The extractor motor starts but the control unit
does not give signals to the torch and to the so-
lenoid valve.
a) During the initial inspection, the appliance
has located the pressure switch contacts in the
closed position (stuck).
a) Replace the pressure switch with an original
replacement with the same calibration.
b) The control equipment is defective.
b) Replace the equipment with an original
spare part.

8.2 FAULT RESOLUTION
5) Connect and fully close the torch to the solenoid valve.
6) Check and adjust as described in paragraphs 7.2.1 and 7.2.2 on page 61.
7) Check the gas sealing on the threaded joints.
8) Indicate on the plate (gas type) on the appliance successful transformation.
