ELECTRIC CONNECTION
Fig. 6.2 Standard appliance internal wiring
U1 ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
The equipment
U1
has control of the burner function
with remote igniter
A1
, self-diagnosis of the air pres
-
sure switch and electric reset in case of blocking.
The equipment
U1
, works with a single electrode for
ignition and detection of the connection
T
flame
A2
(fig. 6.1).
The equipment
U1
is supplied in printed circuit with
female MOLEX connection terminals for connection
to the wiring.
J4 - A1 - A2 REMOTE IGNITER AND ELECTRODES
The remote igniter
A1
is connected to the printed cir
-
cuit
J4
. Operation of the torch with one electrode for
ignition and for detection is determined by the con
-
nection
T
(fig 6.1).
The diagram (fig 6.1) shows the electrical connec
-
tions between the electrode and the printed circuit.
B1 - B2 PROTECTION BOX
The electrical wiring and components are inside a
PVC watertight box attached to the burner. On the
closure lid
B1
there is a cable gland for connection
of the power supply by the installer while on box
B2
there is another cable gland for connection
J2
of the
fan.
J6 - C1 AIR PRESSURE
The air differential pressure switch
C1
is connected
with a silicone tube that detects the vacuum created
by the fan. The other pressure switch (pressure) in
-
stead detects the pressure. Electrical connections to
the printed circuit are created on
J6
J5 - D1 GAS VALVE
The connecting plug
D1
of the gas valve is connect-
ed in J5 in the printed circuit.
J7 SIGNALS ON BOARD
On the closure lid
B1
are connected 2 indicator lights
in
J7
that indicate the block (red) and normal opera
-
tion (green) of the burner
J1 ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY
(connection by the installer)
On the cover of the protection box
B1
there is a ca-
ble gland for connection of the burner's electrical
power by the installer. The electrical wiring must be
performed in
J1
according to the diagram (fig. 6.1).
The power supply must be 230V PHASE/NEUTRAL
50/60Hz.
J2 FAN CONNECTION
On the wiring protection box
B1
there is another ca-
ble gland for connection of the fan power supply ca
-
ble.
The electrical connections to the printed circuit board
are created in
J2
by the installer as shown in the di
-
agram (Fig. 6.1).
F1-F2 PROTECTION FUSES
On the circuit board, there are two protection fuses
F1-F2
(fig. 6.1) 4x20 mm 3.15 A.
6.2 STANDARD VERSION APPLICATION INTERNAL WIRING
Important
Reset of the appliance is performed by
means of an electric reset, i.e. by remo-
ving and restoring the voltage.
