8 Synthes Universal Battery Charger Instructions for Use
No indicator lights up on the charger.
No battery is inserted, but the three
charging bay indicators do not light up
simultaneously.
A battery is inserted, but none of the
three charging bay indicators lights up.
Yellow indicator lights up.
Red indicator lights up.
Troubleshooting
Switch charger on using mains switch
(4).
Plug mains cable into mains cable
connector (6) and wall socket. Then
switch charger on with mains switch
(4).
Switch charger off using mains switch
(4) and pull out mains cable (6).
Replace fuse (5). Reconnect mains
cable (6) and switch charger on
again (4).
Have charger checked and, if necessary,
repaired by the official Synthes
manufacturer or an authorised sales
outlet.

Remove battery, switch charger off
briefly using mains switch (4) and then
switch it on again. If all indicators on
the charging bay now light up, battery
is defective and must be replaced.
