This symbol draws attention to important informa-
tion. On a charger, it refers to important information
in the accompanying documentation.
This symbol indicates that the battery contains
rechargeable cells. The battery materials can be
recycled (see following information).
According to WEEE 2002/96/EC the battery may not
be disposed in the normal waste as it contains Cad-
mium. Dispose of or recycle in accordance with lo-
cal, state and federal regulations.
According to WEEE 2002/96/EC the battery may not
be disposed in the normal waste as it contains Metal
Hydride. Dispose of or recycle in accordance with lo-
cal, state and federal regulations.
According to WEEE 2002/96/EC the Universal Bat-
tery Charger may not be disposed in the normal
waste, but must be sent back to Synthes for recy-
cling.
