Compatibility with the former models
⇒⇒⇒⇒⇒
Me chani cal
•
The dimensions and mounting holes are unchanged.
•
To prevent holding water and dust, if the device is horizontally mounted, the front has been
designed with smooth edges.
•
The design of the touch screen is slightly modified
Elec tri cal
•
The wiring and connections of the new model is fully upward exchangeable with the old models.
•
Only one new wire has been added (white wire) to connect to emergency and safety switches and
devices.
•
The DIP-switch at the back of the old model is not present any more on the new device. This was
one of the major source of possible problems. Instead of the dip-switch the code switches are
separate available for low voltage supply (12 - 48 VDC) and high voltage supply (48 - 90 VDC).
To order a new code switch for replacement do not forget to add the correct
supply voltage range.
Op era tion of the ECS
The basic operation by the normal user has not been changed.
The basic operation of the programming is slightly improved. To enter the user ID had to be always
four digits in the old model. Now only two digits must be entered so that the unnecessary leading
digits are restricted.
