Drive lettering and boot sequence

Drive lettering

The PTC’s operating system identifies drive letters
according to the PTC’s software configuration. The
following sections provide the possible drive letter
assignments for your PTC.

Without Card and Socket services

Without Card and Socket services 
applies only during a boot sequence.

The PTC can be booted without Card and Socket
services from the compact flash or from a slot on the
PCMCIA controller.
