2.6.2 Training for single commands
Training for single commands is done on different pages.

The commands for wakeup and set the PILOT X to sleep is done under
“System –
VRec
”
with
next to the edit box.

You can train the commands in the
“Menu”
pages for all menu commands with a
click on
“
Rec
”.

To replace existing recordings, it can be done in
“Audio”
with
“
Rec
”.
You can choose if PILOT X should prompt the selected command and / or playback a beep
before the user should say the command. These settings are done under
“Sytstem – VRec”.
The settings for volume output, microphone sensitivity and threshold can be done under
“Training” and should be set before starting the single word training.
The sequence that happens is the same in each case:

training.

PILOT X prompts the first command.
When LED 2 is highlighted in blue the
recording has been started and you can
repeat the word.
PILOT X waits until it recognizes a spoken
command. There is no need to speak
immediately. It is more important to wait
for the blue LED!

If the recording is not accepted you will be
asked to say the command again. Please

wait for the blue LED.

If the recording was accepted you can hear
what PILOT X is storing.
When the recording is stored,
LED 2 turns red
, which means voice recognition is stopped. You can
now repeat the single word training with the same or other commands.
When all recordings are done, please change to

Home
”
and click

Start Pilot
”
. In case you have
started without already stored training, PILOT X may say
“
Please make voice training
”
. Then you
have to change to
“
Training
”
and click
“
Start Training
”
to finish your training.
