Bottom bar of icons
The icons at the bottom of the display to the right and left serve to la-
bel the softkeys. The icons in the centre serve for navigation purposes
and information.
Icon Description
Further digits/characters to the left or right.
Left−hand softkey: Open the main menu.
Left−hand softkey: Confirm the selection.
Star icon
New entry in the call list;
Page 108.
Only appears when the call list is open.
Further options are available by scrolling up and
down.
Right−hand softkey: Move one level back in the
menu structure.
Right−hand softkey: Digits/Characters are dele-
ted, an alarm is stopped or the microphone is
switched off or on during a call.
DD/MM Displays the date; Page 113.
hh:mm Displays the time; Page 113.
Standby mode
All descriptions in this operating manual assume that the handset is in
Standby mode. Press the
I
button, several times if necessary, to
activate Standby mode.
Energy−save mode
When the handset has been in Standby mode for some time, it auto-
matically switches to energy−save mode. The buttons and display no
longer light up.
