Removal of the panel from the ILTO Premium
control unit.
Connection of the control cable.
Fitting the panel cover onto ILTO Premium control
unit. First place the upper edge of the cover in
place and then press the cover to secure it.
the duct and the fastener). The top of the ventilation unit ahead to
the sound absorber must be carefully acoustically insulated (the duct
is a source of sound).
In situations when a cooker hood, if required, us not connected
directly to the bottom of the ventilation unit, the extract air duct of
the cooker hood from the kitchen can be connected to the top of the
ventilation unit. You have to remove the cover plate from the connec-
tion spigot on the unit before you can fasten the duct with screws.
5. For sealing the vapour barrier, we recommend the use of lead-
through seals through the upper joists. The upper joists’ lead-through
seals prevent moisture from penetrating the insulation in the upper
system of joists and also prevent penetration of the air from the attic.
6. The ventilation unit’s and the cooker hood’s plug connectors that
serve as circuit breakers are outside the unit. If the cooker hood and
the ventilation unit are mounted separately, electric wall sockets
must be available nearby.
7. It is not possible to adjust the relative speeds of the fans. In the DC
model, this adjustment can be carried out from the ”Installation and
service” menu in the control panel. In the AC model, this adjustment
can be done by changing the wiring on the transformer.
N.B! The electrical wiring work must be carried out by a
qualified electrician. The voltage of the regulated phase of
the power supply to the ventilation unit must be at least
60 V (the AC model).
8. A control panel is required if the ventilation unit is used without a
cooker hood. The control panel should be mounted inside an electric
cubicle and be wired to the control circuit card of the ventilation unit
by means of a modular cable. Think of this when you are installing.
Mount the lower section of the control panel as shown in the illustra-
tions, by means of screws through the mounting holes. Lastly mount
the upper parts in place. It will be very simple to operate the ventilation
unit if this is done from the cooker hood. However, the factory-preset
values of the ventilation unit cannot be changed without the use of
a control panel.
9. Lastly, fit the cover plate of the unit above the door of the ventila-
tion unit.
Important:
Remove the installation instructions and the condensate
hose from the ventilation unit before commissioning it.
The electric wiring work must be carried out by a qualified
electrician.
WARNING: It is absolutely forbidden to use the ventilation
system while the building is under construction or if dust-
raising work is in progress. The ducts should be covered
with covers to prevent impurities from entering them.
