3.2.5 TTP 5100 control board SWC 728-001
REMOVAL
1. Separate the upper and lower chassis modules. See Section 3.2.2 on page 16.
2. Remove the control board (4 nuts).
3. If the board is to be replaced with a new one, remove the EPROM (U4) since this
should be transferred to the new board.
REPLACEMENT
1. Install the EPROM capsule that was removed from the old control board.
2. Install the board in the reverse order. See page 45 for correct connector positions.

REMOVAL
1. Separate the upper and lower chassis modules. See Section 3.2.2 on page 16.
2. Remove the board (4 nuts).
REPLACEMENT
1. Mount the board in the reverse order.
2. It may be necessary to download the correct firmware version and/or user defined set-
up menu after the board replacement. See TTP 5200/5250 Installation Manual for
detailed information on how to do this.

REMOVAL
1. Separate the upper and lower chassis modules. See Section 3.2.2 on page 16.
2. Remove the screw holding the voltage regulator U9 against the left hand side of the
lower chassis module. Save the insulating shim and the insulating bushing.

has an additional spacer fitted behind the regulator.
3. Remove the board (4 nuts).
REPLACEMENT
1. Mount the board in the reverse order.
CAUTION ! — Fasten the 5V regulator with its insulating bushing firmly against the
chassis with the insulation shim and, if applicable, the additional spacer in-between.

detailed information on how to do this.
