• Align the punch mark

on inner race with the punch mark

on balancer driven gear.
GENERATOR
REMOVAL
• Remove the stator coil

and CKP sensor

.
INSTALLATION
Install the stator coil and CKP sensor in the reverse order of
removal. Pay attention to the following point:
• Route the lead wire properly. (


GEARSHIFT SHAFT
DISASSEMBLY
• Remove the return spring
2
and spacer
3
from the gearshift
shaft
1
.
INSPECTION
Inspect the gearshift shaft for wear or bend.
Inspect the return springs for damage or fatigue.
Replace the gearshift shaft or spring if there is anything unusual.
REASSEMBLY
• Install the spacer
3
and return spring
2
.
NOTE:
When installing the gearshift shaft return spring, position the
stopper

of gearshift arm between the shaft return spring ends
