Rear Brake Pedal Adjustment
The rear brake pedal position must be
properly adjusted at all times or the disk
brake pads will rub against the disk
causing damage to the pads and to the
disk surface. Adjust the brake pedal
position in the following manner:
1. Remove the front footrest mounting
bolts

WARNING
A hot muffler can burn you. The muf-
fler will be hot enough to burn you
for some time after stopping the
engine.
Wait until the muffler cools to avoid
burns.
