• Remove the thrust washer and primary driven gear

assembly

• Remove the spacer and thrust washer

• Remove the círclíp

and oil pump driven gear

• Remove the pin and washer .
• Remove the oil pump

A CAUTION

Do not attempt to disassemble the oil pump as-
sembly.

• Remove the gearshift shaft
• Remove the pawl lifter and cam guide by removing

the screws.

• Remove the gearshift cam driven gear

NOTE:

When removing the cam driven gear , do not lose the

pawls

, pins and springs .

• Remove the gearshift shaft stopper
