At the end of a dive trip, the SOLUTION

should be rinsed thoroughly and then
dried with a soft towel. If the unit is mounted into a console boot, the computer unit
will need to be removed from the console and cleaned before storage.
IMPORTANT: When removing the computer from the console, check the battery
compartment for possible moisture or water. This is easily done through the
transparent lid covering the compartment. DO NOT use the SOLUTION

if you
detect any moisture or water inside.
CAUTION!
- do not use compressed air to blow water off the unit
- do not use solvents or other cleaning fluids that might cause damage
- do not test or use the SOLUTION

in pressurized air.
6.2 BATTERY COMPARTMENT INSPECTION
Frequently check for leaks in the battery compartment. This is important specially
after the battery replacement. If you find moisture inside the transparent battery
compartment lid, there is a leak.
A leak must be corrected without delay, as moisture will seriously damage the
computer, even beyond repair. Suunto does not take any responsibility for damage
caused by moisture in the battery compartment, if the instructions of this manual are
not carefully followed.
In case of a leak immediately bring the SOLUTION

to an authorized Suunto
dealer/ distributor.
