When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should al-

ways be followed, including the following:

WARNINGS

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury:

- Do not leave appliance when plugged in. Unplug from outlet

when not in use and before servicing, cleaning, and before re-

placing the bag or filters;

- This machine can be operated by trained people only and it is

not intended to be operated by kids or mental-sensorial defec-

tive people;

- Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary

when used near children;

- Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s

recommended attachments;

- Before use, users should be provided with information, instruc-

tion and training for the use of the appliance and the pollutant it 

is used for, including the right method for the safe removal and 

disposal of the substances collected;

- It is necessary to provide an adequate air change rate in the

room if the exhaust air is returned in the room. Reference to

National Regulations is necessary;

- The temperature of the work area must be between 10°C and

35°C with humidity between 50% and 90%;

- The surface on which the machine rests must not exceed a max-

imum 10 degree gradient;

- Do not use with damaged cord or plug; If appliance is not work-

ing as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or 

dropped into water, return it to a service center.

- Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any open-

ing blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may 

reduce air flow.

- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away 

from openings and moving parts.

- Turn off all controls before unplugging;

- Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.

- Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door 

on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not

run appliance over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces;

- Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug,

not the cord;

- Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands;

- In the event of a blackout, turn the tool switch in OFF position

and unplug the power cord to avoid accidental start when power 

comes back;

- Do not expose the machine to rain and low temperatures;

- Do not lift and transport the machine by the handle with a lifting 

device;

- Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as

cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes;

- Do not use without bag and/or filters in place;

- Do not vacuum flammable or explosive dust (i.e. magnesium, 

aluminum, etc.);

- Do not vacuum substances which can cause cancer or other

diseases (i.e. Lead, Silica, Arsenic, Chromium, Asbestos etc.);
