MAINTENANCE GUIDE FOR A 115V - 230V SUREKAP SK600
AND THE SK600 PORTION OF AN SK6000
Tightening Disc: 6 each (Ref. # B22A)
•
Inspect these parts daily.
•
Replace if parts become damaged or if wear prevents parts from performing properly.
•
These parts are not lubricated.
•
Failure to replace when necessary can cause the machine to perform poorly.
Timing Belt (for Spindle Motor): 1 each (Ref. # E19)
•
Inspect every six months or as often as necessary.
•
This part is not lubricated.
•
Replace if wear or damage is visible.
•
Failure to replace when necessary can cause loss of power to the spindle drive system.
Tolomatic Drive Shaft Bearing: 8 each (Ref. # E11)
•
Lubricate every three months. Using a standard grease gun, pump ½ of a pump of Jet-
Lube AP-1 into bearing.
•
This part is factory lubricated with Jet-Lube AP-1.
•
Failure to lubricate this part may cause premature failure and excessive wear to the drive
system.
Add-A-Shaft or Glide Right Gearbox: 8 each (Ref. # E10A, E10B, E10C)
•
These gearboxes are permanently lubricated for life with a sealed leak-proof gear case.
•
The manufacturer does not recommend adding any additional grease.
Tolomatic Shaft, Horizontal and Vertical: 12 each (Ref. # E14, E24, B1, B2, D3)
•
Inspect every three months. Look for wear at contact points.
•
Replace any shaft that has a reduced diameter due to wear as soon as possible.
•
Failure to replace worn part may cause damage to related parts and if shaft breaks, will
render the machine inoperable.
