Change User Password
Select this feature and press <Enter> to access the submenu, and then enter a
new User Password.
Clear User Password (Available only when User Password has been set)
This item allows the user to clear a user password after it has been entered.
Password Check
Select Setup to allow the system to check for a user or supervisor password when-
ever it enters into the BIOS Setup.
Select Always to allow the system
to
check for
a user or supervisor password at each system boot.
The options are
Setup
and
Always.
Boot Sector Virus Protection
When this item is enabled, the AMI BIOS displays a warning when any program
(or virus) issues a Disk Format command or attempts to write to the boot sector of
the hard disk drive. The options are Enabled and
Disabled
.
4-5 Boot Confi guration
Use this feature to confi gure boot settings.
Boot Device Priority
This feature allows the user to specify the sequence of priority for the Boot Device.
The settings are 1st boot device, 2nd boot device, 3rd boot device, 4th boot device,
5th boot device and Disabled.
