Installing the Front Cooling Fan (Optional)
1. Power down the server,and remove the power cord from the rear of the power
supply.
2. Remove the side cover. (See page 6-2).
3. Insert the four rubber pins through the front fan bracket and into the mounting
holes in the front fan.
4. Pull the rubber pins through the mounting holes of the system fan to secure
the fan to the fan bracket.
5. Lower the fan module into the chassis, aligning the holes at the top of the
front fan bracket with the holes in the chassis.
6. Secure the fan to the chassis using the two screws provided.
7. Connect the fan power cable to the motherboard.
