Wake-On-LAN
The Wake-On-LAN header is desig-
nated JWOL on the serverboard. See
the table on the right for pin defi ni-
tions. You must also have a LAN card
with a Wake-On-LAN connector and
cable to use this feature.
Chassis Intrusion
The Chassis Intrusion header is des-
ignated JL1. Attach an appropriate
cable from the chassis to inform you
of a chassis intrusion when the chas-
sis is opened

Ethernet Ports
Four Ethernet ports (LAN1 and LAN2)
are located on the I/O backplane. A
dedicated LAN is also included on
the X8DT3/-F to provide KVM support
for IPMI 2.0. All these ports accept
RJ45 type cables. Please refer to the
LED Indicator Section for LAN LED
information.
Power LED/Speaker
On the JD1 header, pins 1-3 are for
a power LED and pins 4-7 are for the
speaker. Close pins 4-7 with a jumper
to use an external speaker. If you wish
to use the onboard speaker, please
close pins 6-7. See the table on the
right for speaker pin defi nitions.
