Wake-On-LAN
The Wake-On-LAN header is desig-
nated JWOL on the serverboard. See
the table on the right for pin defi ni-
tions. You must also have a LAN card
with a Wake-On-LAN connector and
cable to use this feature.
Chassis Intrusion
The Chassis Intrusion header is des-
ignated JL1. Attach an appropriate
cable from the chassis to inform you
of a chassis intrusion when the chas-
sis is opened

LAN1/2 (Ethernet Ports)
Two Ethernet ports (designated LAN1
and LAN2) are located beside the
VGA port on the I/O backplane. These
ports accept RJ45 type cables.
External Speaker/Internal Buzzer
On the JD1 header, pins 1-4 are for
an external speaker and pins 3-4 are
for the internal speaker. If you wish to
use an external speaker, connect it
to pins 1-4 to. If you wish to use the
onboard speaker, you should close
pins 3-4 with a jumper.

Overheat/Fan Fail LED
The JOH can be connected to an
LED to provide warning of chassis
overheat. This LED will also blink to
indicate a fan failure. Refer to the table
on the right for pin defi nitions.
