No Power
Checklist
Make sure that no short circuits exist between the serverboard and the chas-
sis.
Verify that all jumpers are set to their default positions.
Check that the 115V/230V switch on the power supply is properly set.
Turn the power switch on and off to test the system.
The battery on your serverboard may be old. Check to verify that it still sup-
plies ~3VDC. If it does not, replace it with a new one.
No Video
Checklist
If the power is on but you have no video, remove all the add-on cards and
cables.
Use the speaker to determine if any beep codes exist. Refer to Appendix A
for details on beep codes.

Memory Errors
Checklist
Make sure that the DIMM modules are properly and fully installed.
You should be using registered ECC DDR-2 memory (see next page). Also,
it is recommended that you use the same memory type and speed for all
DIMMs in the system. See Section 2-4 for memory details and limitations.
Check for bad DIMM modules or slots by swapping modules between slots
and noting the results.
