Serial ATA Power Cables
Serial ATA power cables should be routed so that they do not block the airfl ow
through the chassis. See the serverboard layout diagram for the location of the
cable connections.
DVD-ROM Drive Installation
The top cover of the chassis must be opened to gain full access to the DVD-ROM
drive bay. The DVD-ROM drive must have a "slim" profi le to fi t into the 6015V-
T/6015V-TLP.
First, release the retention screws that secure the unit to the rack. Grasp the two
handles on either side and pull the unit straight out until it locks (you will hear a
"click"). Next, depress the two buttons on the top of the chassis to release the
top cover and at the same time, push the cover away from you until it stops. You
can then lift the top cover from the chassis to gain full access to the inside of the
server. You must power down the system before installing or removing a DVD-
ROM drive.
Drives mount on rails and should "click" into place to be correctly and fully installed
in their bays. A red mark on a wire typically designates the location of pin 1.
